AUDITORIUM

The auditorium offers excellent equipment and acoustics for local and professional theatrical, musical, and educational performances. The 76'x 66' auditorium will seat 500 and includes the same high- technology hookups for teleconferences and presentation resources. The 83'x37' stage area creates a dynamic atmosphere for performances or presentations. A Grand Piano and Orchestra Pit are also available. Equipped with large dressing rooms, cry room, audio mixing room, and projection room, this setting provides a state-of-the-art performance center, ideally suited for cultural events.

CONFERENCE CENTER

The McDill "Huck" Boyd Community Center is pleased to offer the latest in technology resources to communicate within the community, state, and the world. The Conference center is a 33’x43’ room and will accommodate up to 120 people or with tables, up to 100.

The telecommunications center provides a high-tech link with business, educational, and cultural centers for education, planning, consultations, medical consults, and training.

Video conferencing is designed to allow more meeting opportunities, less travel, greater productivity, and multi-site meetings with effective point-to-point video communication. This technology makes the Center a great place for:

  • Pentium processor computer, equipped with 17" monitor for video conference interactivity.
  • Portable LCD projector for multimedia presentations.
  • CD/cassette deck.
  • Wireless mic system.
  • Complete audio system built in.
