The afternoon are completely free for all, and will be fun for all. The children will enjoy the three blow-up games, including a big slide, a bouncy house, and an obstacle course, face painting by “Face Painter Extraordinaire” Lauren Speer of Plainville, and all will enjoy the music of Daniel Jupina, talented on both harmonica and guitar, as well as the C&R Railroad Train Show which will operate every half hour from 12:30 to 2:30 in air conditioned comfort, while outside the Nex-Tech Train will carry its passengers along its designated tracks. Hot dogs grilled by the First National Bank, chips, and cupcakes will be the featured menu of the afternoon, as well as refreshing summer-time drinks.

At 6:00 p.m. those who have chosen to support the Center with a monetary gift of $125.00 or more, will receive tickets to board an imaginary cruise line, where they will enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner followed by an evening of entertainment presented by local participants. Those with tickets to board the Huckleberry Line Cruise may begin boarding at 6:00 p.m. The passengers will enjoy meeting the Captain, Gene Bugbee, receiving a souvenir glass with a refreshing drink and a deli-cious buffet dinner complete with a variety of desserts. Following dinner, the guests will retire to the auditori-um for a Phillips County version of the “Newly Wed and Not-So-Newly Wed Game.”
